meet Rachel
Expert in Human Resources, Recruiting and Resource Support
Rachel started her career in healthcare shortly after graduation. She spent the first several years traveling to the Northeastern United States to oversee the human resource functions for over 400 healthcare facilities. This embarked on her career in mergers and acquisitions and all facets of Human Resources as an HR Generalist. In 2000, after earning her B.S. Degree from Auburn University in Business, with a concentration in Human Resources, she put her experience and knowledge to practice by becoming one of the strategic leaders to help shape the company’s core employee programs steering the execution of human resource strategies and championing the transformation of human resources into a function that proactively contributes to the achievement of key business results. She learned the importance of customer service-centric roles, communication, collaboration, and teamwork for the business while working and traveling directly with their top leadership.
Her leadership continued as she transitioned into the legal industry to build and lead the Human Resources, Marketing, and Recruiting specialties for a law firm in Birmingham. To this end, she overhauled the approach to human resources and recruiting to cultivate partnerships between the company and its employees.
After spending many years in the legal field, she transitioned back into the healthcare arena to oversee Human Resources and Compliance in Atlanta for a healthcare company. For the next several years, Rachel stood at the helm with oversight of the human resources and compliance efforts. She aligned the human resource strategies with overarching business goals that resulted in considerable increases in productivity, safety, compliance, quality of client experiences, and employee engagement.
Rachel is thrilled to lead the Level Workforce’s Human Resources team by directing the overall strategy and direction of the human resources business and offering consulting services to companies in need of human resource support.
Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering for charity. She volunteers with her daughters through the National Charity League and her son in the Young Men’s Service League. She is also a previous member of the Junior League of Birmingham.
